It was wonderful to have the children return to school this week. In writing, they were introduced to a new text, The Papaya That Spoke! Class 2H had the opportunity to taste a papaya and describe what it looked like and its taste. The pupils settled into their new maths groups focusing on addition and subtraction and they practised their number bonds on Hit the Button. The week ended with a PSHE lesson on exploring feelings and thinking about empathy (how someone else might feel).
