This week, the year 2 cohort ventured out on coaches and travelled to Lotherton Hall. They saw Florence Nightingale and learned about her childhood and adult life. They explored the grounds and class 2H looked under a log (microhabitat) to see what creatures were underneath. The children loved visiting the wildlife area too, There were showers in the morning but the sun came out in the afternoon. Thank you to the parents that assisted on the trip and to the children for engaging enthusiastically in the activities.
