The final week of summer term one was Mental Health Week. The pupils all received a compliment written inside a green heart. The children were able to spend time outdoors because the Grow To School Project was timetabled to occur on that day. Pupils made mud balls and added seeds and left them in the school grounds to show how seed dispersal can happen. This linked nicely to our science topic on plants. On Tuesday, the pupils came to school wearing an item of clothing that was green and our pledge was to be kind to each other and our world. By the end of the week, all the children had worked extremely hard and definitely deserved a wonderful half term break!
