Time for some artistic creativity

Welcome back! The children had a great start to their first week back after the Easter break. During this week, the children explored and observed different plants in the school ground as part of their science topic: Plants. On the same theme, the children spent time discussing a painting by artist James Bolton called ‘Painted Iris and Summer Snowdrop.’ The children had a go at sketching the painting and then they drew it again, using colour. Very impressive work for 6-7 year olds. Well done 2H!
